Recognizing that working with horses can be a powerful therapy for Veterans and family members, LCVFSF has begun partnering with Equestrian Connections on Bradley Road in Lake Forest. It offers best in class equine therapy to enrich the lives of people who choose to benefit from its many resources and services.

Equestrian Connections offers a broad range of equine therapy programs, including one called ReConnect, specially designed for Veterans and family members to connect with horses and with each other to create a uniquely positive experience.

“We are excited to work with Equestrian Connections. The “connection” aspect of this activity aligns perfectly with the first pillar of our care model of restoring well being. They have made such a difference in many people’s lives since operations started in 2001,” said Paul Baffico, LCVFSF’s founder and president. “We are so impressed with the quality of the staff members we have met and the wonderful work that they do. Additionally, the facility is so much more than a set of stables and beautiful horses.”

Equestrian Connections has its own open lands area, an ADA accessible pond, a picnic area, and project work rooms. “In the future we would like to take advantage of the many dimensions Equestrian Connections property has to offer Veterans and their Family Members,” Baffico said.
